This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them on the IDI Profiling AB website (idi.se), what types of cookies we use, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.
Necessary cookies are always set, as the website does not work without them. Marketing cookies are only set if you actively choose them in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. Our visitor statistics use no cookies at all.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to the website owners.
Cookies can be "persistent" or "session" cookies:
We use cookies for the following purposes:
These cookies are essential for the website to function properly. They enable basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
idi_cookie_consent | Stores whether you have accepted or rejected cookies | 1 year |
idi_cookie_preferences | Stores your specific cookie category preferences | 1 year |
To see how our website is used we run Umami, an analytics tool we host ourselves at umami.idi.se. It stores no cookies and no data on your device, does not collect any personal data, and does not follow you to other websites. It counts page views and anonymous totals such as browser, country and which site you arrived from.
Because nothing is stored on your device, these statistics need no consent, and there is nothing to switch off in the cookie banner.
We advertise on Google and LinkedIn. These cookies let us see which ad led to a contact request, so we know which campaigns are worth running, and let us show you relevant ads on other websites. If you register an account on our platform after clicking an ad, the click id may be linked to the registration, to measure which ads lead to new accounts.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Google Ads, links an ad click to a contact request | 90 days |
idi_gclid | Google Ads, keeps the ad click id so it can be passed on when you register | 90 days |
li_sugr | LinkedIn, used to recognise the browser | 90 days |
UserMatchHistory | LinkedIn, synchronises advertising identifiers | 30 days |
bcookie, lidc | LinkedIn, identifies the device and routes traffic to servers | 1 year and 1 day respectively |
Note: These cookies are only set if you explicitly accept marketing cookies through our cookie consent banner.
Our visitor statistics run on our own server, so that data never leaves our control.
If you accept marketing cookies, we additionally use Google Ads and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which are third-party services. They set their own cookies and may transfer data to the United States. If you decline marketing cookies, the LinkedIn tag is not loaded at all. The Google tag always loads, but without your consent it sets no cookies and sends only anonymous, cookieless signals (Google Consent Mode).
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in our website footer or by clearing your browser's cookies and revisiting our site to see the consent banner again.
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience, as some website features may not function properly.
To learn more about how to manage cookies in your browser, please refer to your browser's help documentation:
Some browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Our own visitor statistics collect no personal data whether or not the signal is enabled.
Google and LinkedIn, however, do not respect DNT. Their cookies are governed by your choice in the cookie banner instead, and are not set at all if you decline marketing cookies.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Cookie Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
